The third quarter of 2025 saw interesting trends in the performance of the top navigation and maps applications on the iOS platform in Spain. According to data from Sensor Tower, these apps showcased varied patterns in downloads, active users, and revenue.

Waze Navigation & Live Traffic experienced significant fluctuations in weekly downloads, starting at around 27K and peaking at approximately 53K in mid-August. Weekly active users hovered near the 1M mark, with a peak of 1.1M in late July, before gradually declining to 939K by the end of September.

Google Maps maintained a stable download rate, averaging around 33K weekly. Active users slightly decreased over the quarter, starting at 7.2M and ending at 7.1M. Though revenue was minimal, it saw minor fluctuations, reaching up to $20 in some weeks.
